Therapy beyond four walls
The wooded grounds at The Redbud Center offer another way to slow down, reconnect, and feel supported. Whether you walk the labyrinth, spend time beneath the trees, or simply pause and notice what is around you, the outdoors can become part of your path toward greater well-being.

Ecotherapy brings elements of the natural world into the therapeutic experience. A session might include walking and talking, sitting quietly outdoors, practicing mindfulness, or simply noticing the breeze and rustling leaves. With nearly two wooded acres to explore, clients can experience therapy in a way that feels open, grounding, and restorative.
Walk the labyrinth
Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has no wrong turns and nothing to solve. Its single winding path invites you to slow down and move at your own pace.
The walk is often experienced in three stages: releasing as you travel inward, receiving as you pause at the center, and returning as you follow the path outward. Walk quietly, pause when you need to, and allow the experience to be entirely your own.

A labyrinth can be a moving meditation. A place to quiet the mind, listen inward, and discover what meets you along the way.

Feel grounded
Our native fern moss carpet offers a gentle sensory experience designed to help you connect with the earth beneath you. You are invited to touch it, brush your hands across it, or remove your shoes and experience its soft texture underfoot.
It is a simple place to pause, breathe, and become more present. Connecting with the natural surroundings and, perhaps, with yourself.
